This kit was designed for the individual who wants to use their own motor to power their GrainMaker® mill. The ratio reducing jack-shaft keeps the RPMs at a safe grinding speed preserving the valuable nutrients in the grains and protecting your Mill. We designed this kit with a 1725 rpm motor in mind (not included). This kit does require some degree of mechanical skill to assemble. It can be assembled either vertically or horizontally. Your motor should be 1 HP or greater. It should have at least 150 inch pounds of torque and will require a 5/8” shaft. It is the customer’s responsibility to guard all areas of assembly for safety. Customer also assumes responsibility for complying with all local and federal electric codes.
