GrainMaker® mills are hand-crafted by Bitterroot Tool & Machine, a family owned, custom machine shop located in Stevensville, Montana. Our GrainMaker® line consists of superior quality, hand-operated grain mills and roller/flaker mills.
Each mill is designed to allow individuals, families and communities the ability to mill wholesome, nutritious foods without additives or preservatives. In addition to the nutritional benefits of owning a GrainMaker® and saving on your grocery bill, you will have the added security of knowing you can provide for your family in case of a power outage or other emergency and allowing added peace of mind.
Whether you want to grind wheat, rice, corn, legumes or coffee beans as well as flax seeds and most nuts, our GrainMaker® mills will do the job. Each mill is fully adjustable, allowing you to choose the type of grind you desire: ultra fine, fine, coarse or cracked and everything in between!
Each GrainMaker® mill is hand made individually using only the finest materials available. GrainMaker® mills come with a full Lifetime Heirloom Guarantee on every part including our Burrs! With a small footprint, our mills take up no more space than a Kitchen Aide® mixer.
Our skilled team of tradesman and craftsman have more than one hundred years of combined experience in the metal working trade. We routinely manufacture parts for a custom gun manufacturer, design, build and run dies used in the aerospace industry, design and build custom machines for the munitions industry and perform various other machining jobs. Integrity and pride of producing American made products is extremely important to us.
